Recorded on a Saturday in February, what began as a head-scratching reel to reel looped drum track was piece by piece built into this lush instrumental that encapsulates the wondering wandering of that day, where the weather was warm and the snow still deep. The loud crashing of pounds of snow falling off roofs accented the steady droplets rolling down every window pane. Doors were left open for the first time in months. A car got stuck while on a food run for a bag of chips. We listened to birds and got kitchen creative with the percussion section. It was a very fun day.
